Tbh, I don't think the makers are to be blamed everytime. This is business for them. They will only show what sells and drama sells. Look at the No. 1 show, FL is miserable from 3 years and it has maintained the No. 1 position. If people want to see a happy story of an independent character with good family then they should not watch ITV , it is always going to disappoint them. It's just not possible in a infinite series shows.

Exactly!! I mean we read and do so many analysis of episodes, spoilers and BTS, but TV audience are not doing that.Its just one of the show they watch while having dinner.

It's not like good show with strong FL and ML have not been made, they have bit they have been rejected by the audience which matters to the makers. Sony and Sab do try to make progressive shows but their TRP are less than 1. Even SP has tried but it has not worked.

In a way the TRP audience are better, they don't boil their blood watching the show and only sees this as entertainment.
