IMO.. he deserves it this time. He can’t simply lead on Arshi like this. What was that remembering marriage etc.. crap to J..and then telling Arshi he didn’t cheat.. He could have very well got carried away in emotions in that rainy night .. but that’s how cheating begins.
He must really break it off with Arshi in clear sentences- girl isn’t smart enough to understand his gol gol baatein.
Arshi clearly now understand what can Ani do n what is he doing added to that she feel Ani cheating her. she even know his family will beg to go with this marriage even after Ani does anything wrong. 
so can't she simply say its done n walk away? Arshi ko na vinayak 2.0 chahiye.. not possible Arshi n this is wrong choice.
