Not really. She was born in then British Hong Kong, family moved around, lived in Hawaii until at 14 she went to London for modeling. She has lived in India for the last 20+ years.
She was indeed born in British HK and has always quoted London as her hometown.. considering her entire family lives there too, I think it's fair to call that her "home". India seems to be more of a "work" country for her.

Could be several reasons. I don't blame her for wanting to get away though. She's had a long career and can do whatever she wants. And if she's pregnant or trying I can't imagine going back and forth or wanting to travel much in such a tough and delicate time.
