Yes he shot that video call scene and the makers reused the same shot whenever he was in a call scene in the following episodes

dialogues were different nah , toh same shot kaise

They only showed his face when the other characters were talking and the camera focused on the faces of the other characters when he was saying his lines (he must've recorded those lines and sent it to the makers)
