I fully agree with SRK getting judged for this kind of smoking habit.
It's really inconsiderate of him to smoke in such enclosed areas where people can't avoid to inhale the smoke.
I don't know if that has changed but at the time of this picture, he obviously did it.
That's bad. It's not like he doesn't understand, he did it irrespective...ki, muze kaun tokega...let me enjoy my addiction. If the cameras couldn't stop him, it's must have been horrible without it.
Sometimes, SRK indeed does things he shouldn't do but I know for a fact, if the guy had asked him to please put out his ciagarette, SRK would have done it. Here, SRK even doesn't notice the handgesture being with the back to the guy.
Afterthought: It seems to be from K3G times and I think the man in yellow is SRK's looooong time man Friday (till today).
(disclaimer: this comment is not meant as an excuse for SRK's behaviour).
Yikes

Your first para & your last line are self contradictory.
He doesn't need a reminder, request or any hand gesture to not smoke in public. That's his own responsibility.
Oh...I don't see the contradiction... anyways...at least I can vouch for t h a t:

He came to an event for my company and all the fire sprinklers had to be tuned off because he wanted to smoke indoors and you can't say no to him instead put lives of 1000 of people in danger in case of an accident
