With Sonam there wasn't as much of uproar though, because she is a very pretty face... and Ranbir actually a good actor. I think the nepos of that generation were definitely better than the load of shit we get today.

However, Sharmin is not the only lead in Heeramandi. There are others and most performed their best. Maybe SLB knew what a dud Sharmin was so didn't launch her as a solo lead.
