I always hate SLB for making a dark & depressing art film with them while he could easily have made a big period or contemporary romantic film with them in their younger days.

Thanks to Ashutosh Gowariker for casting them in Jodhaa Akbar. That film was far superior than any of SLB's magnum opus Bajirao & Padmaavat.

Wish Hrithik & Aishwarya were cast in Nitish Tiwari's Ramayana 10 years earlier.

Aishwarya's career suffered a lot for a period of time because of Salman Khan's Chalte Chalte incident until she got Dhoom 2, Guru & Jodhaa Akbar.

During her initial days she was cast as Mumtaj Mahal, Anarkali, Mastani, Samyukta, Rani Laxmibai and many more period roles. All films were shelved.

Hrithik & Aishwarya were supposed to do Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hamari Jaan Ho Tum after his debacle Saawarya but he made Guzaarish with them. Although good but a depressing film.
