Best Leading Actress Performance in a SLB movie

Almost all actresses have given good performances in his movies (some even their career best)

The options mentioned above received critical acclaim with 8 of these receiving Filmfare and 1 of these also bagging the National Award. Which of these is your favorite SLB leading actress performance? This does not include his recent Netflix Blockbuster series- Heeramandi, only cinematic releases.

Alia in gangubai & Deepika in padmavat are the worst performances by SLB female leads. One looked like a kid & was delivering dialogues in nasal tone. She was really irritating as Gangubai. Another one was stone faced. Aditi overshadowed her. Deepika in BM comes close but keeping it second coz she atleast looked beautiful & I loved her dance numbers. Warna acting was sub standard. So, the best performance by SLB heroine would be either Aish ( HDDCS) or Madhuri ( Devdas)

My favourite is Manisha in Khamoshi which in my opinion is SLB’s best movie.

I watched Khamoshi when it first released. SLB wasn’t such a big name then and wasn’t obsessed with grand sets. Khamoshi is an emotional journey and Manisha and the whole cast were awesome in it.

Rani in Black is the top one for sure. After that I’d say maybe Ash in HDDCS.
