Theres a difference between platonic hugs and actions vs romantic. Armaan has definitely overstepped that several times. Abhira wasnt uncomfortable because she's been gradually falling. Realization happened now but its been a slow organic thing for her. No one including Abhira herself is saying he's obliged to love her back just because she does. All she wanted was respect, honesty and transparency. She didn't sign up to be under one roof with his ex or be character assassinanated for a deal that they both agreed upon. She has wanted to leave many times. She has wanted to tell family the deal truth too but he hid it. Today she's being faulted more than him.

If she was selfish and there only for material things only she'd have never spoken up for anyone or helped anyone in that house. Its easier to do her own thin, stay mute like everyone else and enjoy the luxury of Poddar living. They all grew to like her because of how selfless, genuine, kind and brave she is. But very conveniently they have forgotten everything to accuse her now.

All her good deeds cant be wiped away because of some faults. No one is flawless but there's no comparison between Abhira and Armaan Ruhi.

What Armaan Ruhi did was to cheat 2 innocent people for no good reason. Abhira would have long been gone if she knew their truth and wouldn't be tolerating Ruhis bakwaas or family taunts. Rohits life would not be ruined.

Abhira is taken for granted by everyone because koi kuch bhi karein she's always kind, righteous. She does not hold grudges and speaks up for what she believes.

In fact I feel they whitewashed FL’s stupid idea of picking up a random stranger to be parent to her baby and living with him for years , who does that ? Would have understood if he was some old friend but no it was just a guy she met on bus . She couldn’t even stay committed to that relationship post his death, very weird behaviour from her.

Akshara was blind in her quest for dreamy happy family and remained the same till the end to the point that she tied her daughter to an unknown family for life long , you would say that a woman who has experienced woes of being married to toxic family or getting into a quick love marriage which failed , wouldn’t wish the same on her daughter and would atleast do due diligence but I’m sorry, Akshara created this mess and didn’t learn anything from her previous experiences . Her obsession with marriage to be looked after by a guy is very bizarre considering what happened to her .

I saw the pre leap few episodes and ML’s outburst also seemed OOC but I wouldn’t say much about it, what has happened has happened.

My problem is that DKP writer, in order to safeguard the superficial integrity of not having a full fledged negative character put their leads on stake and it’s not at all a pleasing experience. They are doing the same thing here as well.

If they want to serve toxic drama and compete with likes of Jhanak then go ahead and introduce interesting villains and vamps , this nonsense of dumbing down , ruining their progress or the act of showing leads being amiable to people who create their lives hell to dance on yrkkh song is damn stupid and doesn’t give positive familial vibes at all .


P.S : I’m not being aggressive towards you or anyone I’m sorry if it sounds rude but I’m just upset that I gave this show a chance

They successfully detached me from this legacy show.. Happy that I stopped watching from last week.

I am also detached but not finding anything else to watch. The new entry in ghum2 is interesting but that’s the only character I am interested in , I won’t stay for leads story post his exit , so it’s just a temporary fix . I hope we get fresh new content post IPL everything is just a copy of each other right now .

But what power Dadi has, I do not think she owns everything, and even if she does, Armaan would hardly care. She is powerful in the sense that everybody is scared of her, and if she loves or approves someone the whole family would.

The whole family dynamics are so weird. Madhav who himself does not say a word to Dadi Sa, is asking Armaan to take a decision against Dadi and in front of her. Why can't Madhav himself say that this is his house and Abhira will stay here ?? This whole relationship does not make sense to me.

Kaveri has strong control over people in PH that everyone is convinced that she’s always right so much so that they are scared to oppose or disappoint her.

She controls the narrative of good member and bad member of the house by distributing toffees

Armaan is insecure about his place in the family and is overly protective of his tag as “golden boy” and wouldn’t want to let of it as to him the tag is what makes him relevant/ useful for the PH.

Oddly enough I think he subconsciously doesn’t feel the need to please his father, Manoj or Manisha maybe because they never guilt tripped him .

He could also be upset with Madhav due his past behaviour but I’m not clear what exactly happened to Ar’s biological mother .

In a way I think Ar is similar to his father.

If Madhav loved his first wife/ gf so much then he should have left the house and not marry Vidya but no ...he did blunder and was responsible for Ar's childhood trauma and V's life too. (Maybe Dadi or her dead husband played some trick but still)

Similar happened to Ar, his apparent love was marrying someone else and they had enough time to stop the wedding but he didn't want to make his family sad or angry at him again. For him Ab is a safe bet as he do not love Ab and after that he can return serving his dear family and get in their good books again. In future if fam want him to marry someone else (probably Ruhi) he would easily obliged as to satisfy them.

He is like that colour blind girl running after love and validation from her red flag bf just it's his family in place of bf.
