What I have observed about makers in rishta is they start the season with good track, decent storylines and okayish characters but always destroys them later.

Except S1 they destroyed every season.

Season 2 after few years, S3 after few months and S4 after few days.

I dont think u can say they are non toxic after last season. Two of the characters were turned into very toxic characters.
