Exactly this! This woman is an epitome of hypocrisy. All she desires is constant validation. I don't understand why Andhbhakts are saying she went there to give "moral support" to Anuj and Aadya while the reality is she is tormenting them by self victimisation and making it all about herself.

Yeh sab chodo. She had 5 years to herself. No burdens of Kapadias, no baggages of Shahs.

Her mother, as it seems, was unconditional in her support. They even moved to Vadodara. Imagine her mother at that age agreed to move to a new place.

U can't apply for adoption before the completion of two years of your conjugal life but here they did so after few days only. U have to foster a child for minimum 5 years before legally adopting him/her which was also mentioned in the show. Anupama abandoned CA after 3 years so legally she wasn't adopted and was still under foster care so how did Anupama handed over the custody to Anuj? Kuch bhi? Initially they were just foster parents. This is the reason Maya took child with her as legally MaAn had no rights on CA. But Presently she is shown as the adopted daughter of Ak.. But if a couple is divorced there will an agreement regarding the custody of the child. So from the present situation it is assumed that Anuj got sole custody of he child.
