Oh god such a sick scene. Funny how the male lead ke saath shaadi is being ignored but yeah if the villain forcefully marries her, she should oblige and stay in the marriage without her consent.

But you know aise shows chalte hai. I would never want Sai and Shi to do a show like that. I want them to do positive shows. I am proud of how Imlie is handling third angle till now.

What is not regressive in the show? They showed her touching her face to his feet to take his blessings. He has married her but not giving her the rights of a wife, ping ponging between his wife and his fiance. Watching his wife being degraded by having people remove her wedding symbols forcibly. I don't watch this show but only seen some clips.

It may have a lot of drama which is engaging I am not denying that but it is regressive in my view. Imlie season 1 had the same plot if I remember correctly. That is not the kind of shows I would like to watch.

Kal Gags ne shayad bola tha, I will watch Imlie with crap tracks as long as they don't show things like this. Most of us would rather have Imlie end than show character assassination of the leads. Surya ka loyalty towards this marriage is what makes me a proud Imlie 3 fan. Baki sab cheez they can go wrong and I will accept but immoral tracks like these I would not.

The thing is it made sense in the context of the show. She just got to know her current husband killed her first husband. The reaction was natural. I remember her pulling the trigger on Vishwa to save Agastya. So I was not surprised she would react like this.

It is not as if slaps are not being given in other shows. I am not endorsing violence and wish things like these were not normalized. But it is what it is.

Here also, the thing is that Surya is not upset about the slap but the fact that Imlie thought he had ill intentions. We will see Imlie apologize to him soon and things will get better.

Imlie Surya are currently in a hate/ majboori/ guilt wala marriage. They dont have an understanding between them. Wasn’t there a slap in TMD recently to the female lead? That too after them being in love and in front of the whole family and there were no consequences or apologizes i think.

For me drama kitna bhi engaging ho, I will not watch misogynistic stuff they show. It’s really icky to see such things. And yes in comparison, Imlie stands out for being different.

Slap or beating are equally bad if not more. Doesn't matter whether it makes sense from the show's perspective or not. What's bad will remain to be bad. People watch ITV for engaging episodes and not good content as that is missing on ITV. Somewhat good content was there in Imlie till Agastya was there. Its a problem when the entire show is regressive. People will forget when one or two episodes are regressive whether its Anupama or its Imlie. But I will not believe that regressive content has not been shown in Imlie 3. The recent slap and beating made Imlie 3 enter that club as well.

Agar khudke show regressive hain to dusre ke shows ko kya bole hum? Whatever sequence was shown in that show was regressive not a single doubt about that. But a single episode cannot give an entire opinion of the show. Isiliye I am still watching Imlie 3 despite the regressive content they showed recently and despite hating the FL character. ( haan yahan reason alag hain as I wouldn't have watched Jhanak if it reached the same disinteresting level as Imlie)

I am not saying what imlie did was right but it was one off. Her character at this point is sort of closed off and focussing on only her own sorrows and not bothered about anyone else. But that is ok. I feel she will come out of it and have an arc.

To be honest, we may not be having the trp numbers but I am liking the role reversal where a female lead is stuck in her past and the male lead is behaving normal for once. I know people here don’t want surya to pighlofy but I am ok with him letting go. For a few days, akdu fl and normal ml is a nice change for me. I know we dont really have the time to tell a story for the fl like this. But ya short lived hi Sahi, am ok with imlie’s character

Pura din Surya ko sunati rehti hain but did she utter a single word to Nirmala and malti after the dirty game they played with her? Tab to she loves being muh bandh. Because tab to Surya ke bina kaam nahi chalenge na.
