Yeah he has mostly played negative lead in his previous shows. He played toxic boyfriend in Dhadkhan but was positive earlier, in Udaariyan he was FL's husband..... positive in the beginning but turned negative like murder and kidnapping. Then they write him off the show.

I don't think there is any plan or any specific reason. It's just his character has become of a two timer. I can't believe someone will do that to their ML or probably it was always the plan.
