This is not a positive review, it's sarcasm masked under intentional bombastic vocabulary, read until the end
Posting Himesh review in detail
#BadeMiyanChoteMiyan: High on Action and Scale, Low on Story and Emotions!
#BMCM checks all boxes for a big action film but sadly, none of it comes together in the screenplay and the #AliAbbasZafar directorial ends up being a below-par watch.
While the first half of the film is watchable due to the packaged action blocks with one-liners, there isn't a concrete story that binds it all together. As the screenplay progresses and moves into the world of AI, there is an instant disconnect with this action thriller. The dialogues lack heroism, though fine when it comes to comic one-liners.
What works are the ambitious action blocks and fun moments adding on to the chemistry between the leads. What doesn't is everything else as the film falters at the conflict level, and is devoid of an emotional core too. #AliAbbasZafar is known for his dramatic high-points, but #BMCM is devoid of drama too.
#AkshayKumar and #TigerShroff do well in their respective roles and it's fun to see their chemistry, especially the banter in most serious scenarios. They are at ease during the action scenes.
#Prithviraj lets his voice do the talking and brings in the larger than life aura as the antagonist. He is good but the character's intentions are not clearly defined. #ManushiChillar is fine in her limited role whereas #AlayaF falls prey to an undercooked role. #RonitRoy and the ensemble supporting cast play their part well.
Overall, #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan doesn't live upto the expectations. It's a beautiful body with no soul as the big action blocks don't have the backing of emotions and relatable story.
