The thing is, Jhanak makers have made it such a mess that - there's nothing left to show if they both realize the love so it's going in extreme slow pace. They are too late in showing side plots like Choton's and tbh for me it's not enjoyable when intense moments is going on the other side

She is still distributing invitations.. we won’t even see 10 extras and she has been at it for 2 days now..

Anyhow, if she was here.. she would have arranged for a zoom aashirwaad.. in such a case Ani would have fooled this whole lot once again and one more video call wedding too.. this time after it’s done Ani would say Guess who?? Peek a boo.. Tammi will get a heart attack..

What are ur l feelings regarding the jhanak touching ani s feet ? I have mixed feelings.

Touching someone’s feet seeking blessings is Indian tradition.. she must be seeking blessings from all those fault finders, cynics and vamp maasi.. their blessings don’t even count.

Ani on the other hand is her well wisher.. in a way her mentor and a guide.. he would bless her with all his heart and that should mean a lot to her as well..

On a serious note , i felt its ok because he is the only one who really cared for her .Fought for her with everyone . He even risked his entire life for her.

So touching feet of someone who care for you is a way of showing respect ....because she is getting married and moving out of the home .

They have always been arguing with each other so its a way to show they actually mean understand each other very well .

Anyways Jhanak is shown as a young girl .

Ani deserves respect no doubt but all this makes me feel uncomfortable because this is done with an intention to humiliate jhanak. Women have come up far where they are no more inferior then men. Even men nowadays dont like certain rituals or sometimes they also do it to make their wife feel equal. In such era a show comes up with a scene like this. Lets see how it looks in episode.

I disagree ...

It has nothing to do with humiliating women or here Jhanak.

Its a tradition which we follow in our real life .

In the scenario its Jhanak marriage so she is taking blessing .If it was Anirudh he would also be taking blessings of elders .

Yes , now a days even both husband and wife touch each others feet. And may be many dont follow also.That is ok different thoughts.

And personally i dont think this is anything to do degrading women or their empowerment .

For me I feel empowerment is giving education , having the right to decide , speak their minds , right to work ,even the right to dress , right to be happy , etc which even now like they said needs permission from husband and sasural. That is what bothers me .

Also bowing down and touching feet of anyone anywhere also isn't much appreciated , then its humiliation.

Just put my thoughts , and I respect yours ....
