Shruthi was a delightfully simple and uncomplicated person. Overnight she has become a Shrew (pun intended on the word Shru). What kind of idiotic track is this? Changing the menu not once but twice last minute? The caterers here in the U.S. would ask you to pay in full and would tell you to go take a hike if you changed items last minute.
Aadhya is the limit. The girl is as selfish as it gets. She wants her happiness at the cost of her father’s. She does not give a fig about what he wants. She, of course, knows what is best for him. The girl is indolent, rude and mannerless, time and time again.
As for Anuj, what is wrong with the man? If he wants to move along, he should move on. Why allow his new wife-to-be to ask his ex-wife to cater for their wedding? He does not want to hurt his ex-wife, he supposedly cares for her yet he allows the new termagant to cause hurt to his ex repeatedly. Me thinks Anuj really does not care for his ex, if he did, he would put his foot down and tell Shrew to not let Anupama be any place close at his wedding. He wants to indulge Shrew at the cost of hurting “his” Anu. The man does not know his own mind, he never did, so he should not fuss but should proceed to marry the woman who lives with him and who his spoilt daughter gets along with but he should at least have the gumption to tell them both that he does not want Anupama at his wedding. He will not do that cos like a love sick puppy, he wants to see Anupama at any given chance he can get. He cares nought if Shrew is upset/jealous or that Anupama is put at a disadvantage. He selfishly wants to please himself and that recalcitrant daughter of his. Anuj, grow a spine if you don’t want this wedding, call it off and tell your darling daughter she cannot dictate who you marry. Stay single and indulge that daughter of yours in other ways.
And Anupama, you are not obligated to make Shrew’s day perfect, you are just the caterer, stick to your job. Do not take on extra work on behalf of the other kitchen staff. Cook, get paid, and get out. If Shrew makes changes, tell her no and put her in her place, who is she to you anyway?
