On a serious note though..

Here's my take.. The small leap will be of 1 year.. Meanwhile, Imlie and Surya shall spend sometime with the same nok jhok..

I feel the significance of this one year..cos Surya hinted at Imlie getting her education first and then him telling her the real reason of why he married her..

In this one year.. Imlie might not have love kinda feelings, but still some sort of attachment, while Surya starts falling for her.. And just after she gives her exams and Surya is about to disclose the truth, Raghu comes in the picture and Imlie gets to know everything..

All of this I am guessing if in case there's gonna be any small leap, plus future Imlie gen leap..

This one year will also ensure that Imlie didn't move on very soon after Auggy.. And some gradual progression happened behind the scenes, rather than showing affection all of a sudden..

1. Now if they continue the same gen 3.. after completing education, Imlie becomes a journalist like her Naani 🤗, and helps Surya solve crime..

2. If they wanna introduce Gen 4, this gradual progression of affection, can lead to a con scene and tudum.. baccha on the way...

( I absolutely don't believe Agastya's progeny can survive for 5-6 months now without visible affects 😂🙈.. But on a side note, if they 'somehow' manage to make Surya as Auggy... Then yes.. it could be their kid..)
