hmm perhaps for saboor there were some details on the dress (not obvious to us) that reflected her mom’s dress, but honestly to me it just seems like a pretty standard designer dress 🤷‍♀️ and something is always inspired by something. Saboor herself gave her outfit back to the designer so it wasn’t even her property to begin with. It was the designers - she has a right to do with it what she wants

Na I think she could have handled it with grace. It was an overreaction for me over a dress she doesn’t even own but received as a favor and promotion 🤷‍♀️ She may have tweaked it to match her mom’s but the design belongs to the designer

I think SH main Amina implied that the dress was given back to the designer after saboor’s wedding. It was not a purchase

Khair whatever the case I think saboor should have taken pause and the smart thing to do would have been to compliment iqra’s inspired look herself while taking it out on the designer in private

The scenario also got bad because the designer called out this as her design too. Just everything made saboor look so bad

she didn’t give it back to the designer , the designer just said they had the right to sell the design since saboor doesn’t have copyrights over it . Sell it or do whatever , the issue is the weirdness of not even informing the bride . The dress Iqra wore was a complete replica of saboor’s dress. As a designer why would not let your high profile client know you lend out an exact replica of their wedding dress . I think saboor was just taken aback by that

On insta, Bilal's engagement now is at par with Wahaj's engagement in peak TB days.

Who knows maybe in absolute terms, the hype of Wahaj at peak TB and Bilal at peak IM are equal. But in relative terms, it seemed bigger for Wahaj because their starting points were so different.

Bilal was already an A lister before IM so in relative terms, he could only go up so much. Wahaj came from the B and C lists to the A list during TB so the jump seemed much bigger. Like people already know Bilal so they don't need to google him but Wahaj many people heard about the first time due to Tere Bin - which could.explain difference in search intensity.

But Bilal is definitely at the top of the game right now. I personally think if it weren't for TB2 in the pipeline, Wahaj wouldn't even be one third as popular as he is now.
