I guess it's the colour coding of some dramas. In some dramas were the lighting is moderate or low his eye lashes look darker and thicker.

surprisingly I’ve seen a lot condom ads from Pakistan so apparently it’s not that taboo
Hmmm glad to know that it's evolving

Both the dramas were male oriented and she was the pretty thing they got obsessed over. Replace her with any other pretty girl and both the dramas would have gotten the same success. Khaie might be the only drama were people watched it for her at the start.
Pakistani condom ads were only banned in 2016.
I grew up watching condom ads all through my childhood. They were not risque ads but part of the government's family planning campaign. The more risque (but funny) ones started to come in early to mid 2010s (there was a Mathira one I recall). These would air for a while and then get banned after some people complained to PEMRA. In 2016, PEMRA banned all condom ads.
Pak media was more liberal in mid to late 2000s and early 2010s. It has only gotten progressively more conservative in the last ten years or so.

That was 8 years ago the haris Waheed ad came in last year

I liked her.I meant on TV. Haris Waheed's was an online ad. Before 2016, condom ads used to come on national tv channels. Primetime slots pe chalta tha. But in 2016, they were banned from airing on tv. Online ads are outside PEMRA's purview. Online kuch bhi aasakta hai.
