It’s hilarious when people who lap up fluffy illogical frivolous shows and romance suddenly develop Sopranos/The Wire level standards when critiquing other shows.. like why pretend? Just say you hate the show and actors in it.. pretentiousness and agenda is very transparent

according to my mom who was still watching “ab khatam bhi ker hi lete hain” 😂

but she is done after today too 🤭 from a dejected viewer she turned into a “kitna fazool ho gya hai yeh” today 🤣 I was waiting to see how long it would take her lol - kinda tragic that it was the wedding episode that did her in 🤭

I think this is what happens at this stage of any drama. People who have spent 25+ episodes will just drag themselves to finish it for closure 🤷‍♀️ Hence the views. But everyone is aware of the decline in story and the chaotic execution

Rind make shahmeer not a softy but a lallu. Why the hell would he want his father's permission to get married? That's very out of character for shahmeer. If he wanted to change he should have made changes discussing it with the writer before they start shooting. Didn't he agree to do the drama after knowing what kind of character shahmeer is? There is something called character flow and rind ruined that for shahmeer. In the first few episodes shahmeer is this entitled spoiled brat who goes after what he wants and don't care about what his father thinks and then suddenly he is a desperate lover who roams around his father to get him married .

Also writer's perception of shahmeer is more real. He grew up in a political family with all the luxury and privilege. So obviously he will have grey shades and will have a certain level of entitlement and over confidence and alpha male energy. That goes with the character.

He's still getting his work done from his father by emotionally blackmailing him who does it because Shahmeer's name will get him votes.

I like the calmness of Shahmeer & his respect towards people most of the time. Let's see how it goes from now onwards when he's taking charge & whitewashing his father's decisions.

Obviously the writer is the creator of the character he will have his better version creatively. But as he himself confessed that he's happy with the ratings & views, the masses have connected with this version of the character.

I think she has a point here. So I would like to give my point to tgota this time after binge watching IM , I am frustrated too.

I guess shahmeer was always calm and composed from the first episode itself. He threatens people calmly only. He barely raises his voice to prove his point. So it might be how shahmeer was written. The drama grabbed eyeballs because of Fazal baksh and after a drama gets enough attention it will maintain that loyal viewership till the end. If we go by the story there is zero reason why dramas like mere Humsafar or tb or im keep getting views after a certain point but since it's available to watch for free and people are already invested they keep watching it no matter how the characters go. Since pak dramas are finite series it ends way before the audience get completely done with the show. It has nothing to do with how the characters act or react. IM literally is having random scenes jumping out of nowhere and literally no character is having a good character graph and still it gets views. So it has nothing to do with shahmeer being a softy or a toxic alpha. If anything the views would have increased if he was a toxic alpha going by the trend in pak dramas.

A lot of us have also watched trash bin for 30+ episodes but some people cannot digest our criticism over the show either just because we are fans of other actors
