And in his “Khumar” he had put Hareem on an unrealistically high pedestal and literally worshipped her. So her coming up short of his “expectations” was a blow and his mom had manipulated him nicely for him to feel horror at her being proven right about Hareem. He was in complete shock.

I also thought the writer added a nice touch in the hospital scene with him when he’s like even IF hareeem is innocent, it still doesn’t absolve her because the hurt she had caused by not trusting him is still the same. So it’s not just the betrayal he was recovering from but also the hurt at her not trusting him with something this huge. If you love someone like he loved Hareem, constantly supporting her and reassuring her, standing up for her… when that same person can’t even do something basic like sharing that she’s getting blackmailed and tortured - it’s a huge blow. He probably thinks he was never good enough for her or didn’t do enough to win her trust. So his hurt is a bit complex than just the affair thing.

I’m hopeful for a happy ending simply because Kehkeshaan has to do right by Faiz eventually and she’ll redeem herself by helping them reconcile. She caused this mess so she’ll eventually fix it too. From that angle I can see a happy ending.
But I also wouldn’t mind (personally) if Hareem ditches Faiz and marries Mudassar. It would be a different and more realistic end I think. But I might not like it if it does end up happening lol. Maybe the point of this Mudassar is so Faiz can finally let go of his trust issues and be okay with him. Maybe then Hareem will realize he has outgrown his immaturity and mistrust and she can finally get back with him.

Let’s see what happens ! Fingers crossed for a happy ending for you 👍🏼

Your point about Faiz being hurt is valid. My only issue is that something like that in itself doesn't lead to someone abandoning his spouse. Okay, we can say that he believed that final message he got from her number. He truly believed about her affair and also after Nasir's promise that she found a new bakra. He concluded himself to be a victim in this.
Otherwise, both your scenarios are logical and would be nice if they actually show that. I find Mudassar stuff happening more as he getting all those scenes in a lead up.

there was also the voice recording of Hareem’s which Nasir makes him listen to where she clearly says she wants nothing to do with Faiz and he doesn’t matter to her. That shit has to hurt too.

But yeah completely unrealistic to not have an actual face to face conversation between them 🤯 that was just the writer taking her creative liberty too far into unrealistic territory. Of course any husband and wife would have talked and argued about this - but the writer wanted to force this separation plot so illogical stuff was added 🤷‍♀️

Idk about Mudassar. Sometimes I feel he’s gonna propose to Hareem. Sometimes I feel he’s subtly in love with his crazy wife 😂

I understood that Voice recording differently. By that time not only did he not try to meet Hareem but insulted Hareem's father, threw him out and told off Rufi by asking him to shut off because of all the favours he did for him. It was this recording where she actually said that it makes no difference that Faiz is with her or not, she was fighting alone when she was with him(she didn't have to but still) and she will fight even without him. I felt this is what is made him question Nasir and drag him to the mosque. Otherwise, he had already burned all the bridges by then.

Yep what you’re saying makes sense. The recording came a lot later when he had already done so much and passed his judgement already

I really question the need for the crazy wife in this story. But she is right if Mudassar treated her as 'no choice but to bear coz of mommy' option. He is doing the same with Hareem. His dear mommy says she is like Roha and he is like oh.... I will be glad if he actually helps in Faiz becoming mature like you said. It's like Murtsaim saying I don't care where Meerab was. I believe her types...

exactly. Just like Murtasim let go of all his trust issues and so did Meerab - they both passed the test in the last episode : Murtasim not questioning her about where she was all that time and Meerab not asking him why he was marrying Haya.

So perhaps Mudassar’s presence in Hareem’s life is that test for Faiz.

as for Zille Huma. I think her grief is valid but her behavior is not. There are other ways to show your grievances and insecurities but she just keeps lashing out. Both of them seem like very miserable people who can actually be happy if they just *choose* to be. But she’s too stubborn. Her assessment of Mudassar is completely right though. That he’s just someone to pity who’ll just do whatever his mom says lol

Geo never under utilized Feroze’s caliber, controversial things aside, the guy is a brilliant and versatile actor onscreen, and not utilizing him in a show where wooden Neelum has more meat is unfathomable. The only explanation is that Feroze’s more invested in Akhara which is one of the best written and performed shows of written times.

Faiz is a completely innocent soul in all the chaos, Hareem continuously lied albeit in fear, kehkashan continuously lied, however the writer is somehow trying to induce sympathy for liars and make Faiz the offender when the only thing the guy ever asked was love and trust. It doesn’t take more than 2 scenes to show that confiding in him was sth which was necessary for Hareem given he’s the only person who blindly supported her and her family in all their miseries. I hate it when she talks about Faiz’s bewafaai, Arey behen what bewafaai? You secretly distributed Faiz’s money to your ex fiancée and not the other way round.

Hina Bayat is the female lead here and not neelum 😒

I got the impression that his mom tortured her a lot.smiley36smiley36 She kept saying your one hand was always holding her so Maybe too many expectations or something.

Exactly. Weird combo going on on the side, and he always attaches himself to Hareem.
