FYI. She is pretty much an iconic actress in Punjab now but back then she was heavily criticized for trying to get launched in Hindi film industry.. atleast it seems like she learned from it 😆

she’s very popular in Punjabi cinema like rakul preet or even Sargun metha these days. She was popular in Bollywood when she appeared in some popular Hindi tv shows like ashitvita ek prem khani which was based on a dr who married a younger guy n Neeru played the vamp or other woman in that serial.
