Actors themselves questioning the credibility of a private award ceremony and a set of people on internet questioning the credibility of a national honour simply because they don't like that person are two entirely different things. Sajal or mehwish or saba didn't win it after being nominated for it along with 5 others for a performance for a particular year. They won it for their overall talent and contribution. There is no other contemporary of sajal who has as many critical and commercially successful dramas as her or who got to work in two international projects or won a filmfare. She has worked with legends like sridevi, Shabana azme, shehkar kapoor etc and she did all this at a young age.

Farhan saeed rightfully called out the lux awards because in 2022, mere Humsafar and ktk were the most popular shows and farhan was unanimously praised for his performance in both MH and BB. He was clearly snubbed. Sajal has been snubbed for years but she never called out anyone. She only told the award organisers to widen their category and involve more people and questioned if the jury they have selected even watches these dramas.

I don't know what kind of questions juggu Bibi asks or her hosting style but nida is a headache. She don't have basic manners or skills to be a host. That woman won't let the guests speak and cut them off every other time they want to speak.

Also juggu Bibi is a PTV host and I think PTV hosts are not as loud and obnoxious as private channel hosts. I watched the recent sajal iv on PTV and the host was very respectful and made the guest comfortable.

I think Juggin Kazim won it for being a morning show host. She has been doing it forever. She did not win it for her acting. Those medals are for your overall contribution.

On a tangent, I remember Juggun in a super regressive show where Saba Qatar is married to Mikaal Z and she was raped by Ahsan Khan’s character and Mikaal finds out post marriage and beats her up black and blue .. Juggun supports Mikaal etc etc etc

Was a horrible show

An anchor person won the Medal and she forcefully kept underage girls at her house multiple times. If we are going to question the legitimacy of it, let's not use the example of Juggan and Sajal who won it deservedly. It is like most of the other awards, where most are legitimate but some are fishy.

Jugguns award is definitely absurd.

Forget Nida. What about Nadia Khan, the pioneer of PTV hosting ? what about seniors like shaista lodhi? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Heck, what about Fahad freakin Mustafa who’s had the longest running most amazingly popular show ever? He is the most popular host hands down
