They have no option but to write Surya better now onwards. He is the ML after all.

it's a misconception that writers check social media reaction then write stories. They lead a very busy corporate life always in tension to complete their targets. The script should be ready by 6 am in morning for the actors to rehearse the scenes and execution team to arrange the resources required for particular scenes. Online Audience ki feedback par jyada depend Nahi kar sakte. When all things get sorted out between characters they complain that angst is missing. When writers give angst they complete of too much misunderstanding and advocate Moving on from their partners for even slightest of mistakes by leads.

In our Agastya imlie case I can understand your sentiments. Writers got trapped in their own smartness. The biggest mistake they did is resolving all conflicts of Chaudhurys family. Agar Agastya wapas bhi aa jata toh we would have to see another 3rd angle for prolonging the show life. that would have ruined the character of Agastya. 5 years kid leap bhi dikhate toh our sweet memories of Agastya imlie love story would have been spoiled just because either Agastya or imlie would have hidden their kid from each other.

I realised today why surya doesn’t connect.. surya is all mind where Agastya is all heart

Agasthya’s whole voice held so much joy, affection, warmth , emotions whether he spoke about himself, imlie, surya or dadi. This is what is lacking in surya.

Surya is looking like a shell with no emotions. Like he wants to do the right thing by imlie because his head is saying so. His conflicts are in the head-the information he has stumbled upon but there is lack of emotion in terms of what he feels by having the knowledge of that information.
even with his tayi Amma, the sense of gratitude for picking a boy from the dustbin and giving him a good life, is what is making him do things for the family but does he genuinely feel affection/connection with the reddy family? It didn’t seem like, in today’s episode.
surya felt like an outsider only with the reddy family to me..

In today’s episode, surya was moved by the affection that Agasthya showed him in that small video clip.. he did feel connected to Agasthya, I felt.. and today’s hug to dadi was also very heartfelt compared to his previous interactions with her.

We as an audience also need to connect with Surya, right now he feels empty, especially in comparison to Agastya.

One little fumble in the recent episode, Imlie already had full sindoor in her mang when Surya went to apply it during the wedding 😂

Also Adrija went live on her IG, she’s wearing the bronze coloured outfit from the montage without sindoor or mangalsutra.

She said Sai is shooting an outdoor scene and that the upcoming story is about to be interesting.

She also addressed the negative comments on social media and said that people shouldn’t mix personal and professional relationships.

Imlie’s looking so fresh faced post-marriage, they’re finally letting her beauty shine. I want Surya to be slowly mesmerized by her at some point, once the ghost of guilt and majboori wears off obvi.
