Sonali was also like that initially. She adulterated sweets to maximize profit without caring about health of her customers. Maybe this new Tayiji will also show character growth like Sonali as story progresses

Imlie fighting back and PSA tracks do well in Imlie as long as it doesn't get too preachy. I expect Surya to support her thoughts as he seems quite progressive too.

Tayi khud ghar sansar chod kar kaam pe dhyan de rahi hai so what is the point of removing the women on this premise - no logic there. Waise what business are they involved in? Are they doing something shady there despite having cops in the family?

I am not liking the majboor family man Surya again. Not sure what made him defy this family and go to the temple to marry Imlie after he took off the pagdi.
