Watching Doree from Episode 1 - Page 4

In Balika leap happened after 500 episodes.In these 500 episode they showed a lot of tracks which were not necessarily Anandi centric but were connected with the theme of the show child marriages and empowerment girl child/women they told so many stories of so many girls/women in a very engaging manner which also shaped the lead's character. They never let go of their main focus. Even after the leap with all the love stories all the scenes were woven around the main theme.

Balika Vadhu apart from Anandi Jagya had so many other chracters which became very popular and they could tell so many stories in parallel. Suguna Phooli Sanchi Anandi and Jagya's parents also had their own tracks which were interesting.

Doree's theme should have been about Doree learning about the world through the weavers' stories which this show doesn't want to tell.Instead we get this nasty Takur woman.They made Doree and Ganga as Takur's khoon which took away the impact of the social and econmic gap and just turned it into a family drama.

The scene's written for Doree are so over the top like the one where Doree insisting on donating blood and hospital staff giving into her demand. It is a total put off.

They have taken Amar and Toral because they are already established lead actors who have seen some massive success as leads and the channel needs pillars like them to support the show as they can run the show with a story of their own while they establish Doree.

Doree scenes need a lot of improvement.

Weavers's stories need to be developed too then only they can have a long running show on their hands.

Kailashi's son who is teacher and a story could have been written for him too.

They are not using the characters well.

Banares weavers - There are actually so many stories about them which actually could be used .

I remember how in balika vadhu only one time Anandi solved elder problem otherwise everyone make anandi and jagya stay out of the family problems (sent them in their room all the time) ... But doree is the one who solved problem like adult ...in balika vadhu these things done by ether bhairo, basant , gehna or dadisa .. only one time when Annadi help her parents by doing labour work she behaves as adults otherwise not....

I hope doree makers also let these adults part handle by either ganga or mansi and show parallel story of doree as child, like going school and many other ways ..

Anyways, I think Doree and Vansh as a couple could be incest... Adopted hi sahi, Vansh is son of Anand and Mansi...

I like Sattu as a child friend but then not sure..

You are right.. it's will be wrong in all sense if they show vansh and doree as couple.

But you know the maker of ITV they can do anything. Here vansh is not legally adopted ..they use the as excuse . ....

One or two time ITV does show a incest relationship in famous TV shows

@Blue: Gone are the days when shows focused on all characters and their lives who had independent story of their own. I have been following YRKKH lately and where Gen 1 was way more than just leads, but now, except leads all characters are just lame and sideys. And story is all about LOVE TRIANGLES and toxic... Heck they can't even write love story with proper Male Leads now...

@Red: I was OK with Doree being rich blood with kind heart due to her parvarish but Ganga Prasad being connected is sad and bad... That actually ruins the whole social disparity aspect..!

I love Doree character and how she takes the initiative in solving all problems and had been watching this show since the starting lovely acting by Mahi Bhansali

True the little girl is shown very brave and intelligent as well plus all her community where she lives are very supportive towards each other but except Neelu .

I read it on telly updates. Just search on Google.
