I think the majority neutrals want to see them in a movie that is Aamir and Salman and khans in general. Ahd it’s high time they collaborate. In Aamirs Instra live this week that was the question that was asked by many and Aamir said that at the ambani wedding him and Salman talked on it and on doing a movie together. Nostagalia or not is the idea more so that these two share screen space. In general viewers like to see the khans share screen space. Aamir as matured and realizes his age and he’s analyzing things. Plus his group and Salman group get along very well and supportive since years. AAA is a comedy a sequel to a comedy isn’t hard to make and it can be even something not the same but just have the title to get the audience. I think main point is to see them

Sharing screen space is not only what they wanted but the neutrals and those in the instra live and they are excited in them having a sequel to AAA. Even twitter and Instra exploded on this news.

Aamir is just making the true blue admirers of AAA and audience happy.

Such news of AAA part 2 is circulating since last 15 years or so with similar stories.

And I can recall Aamir gave almost similar statements some 10-14 years ago time to time about AAA that someone started working, or its in the very initial stage or he is looking for a story and soon will break good news for AAA lovers.

I guess all AAA lovers ko aisay hee random se diplomatic jawaab deyna is not a sign of making of such sequel in REAL , as it would be next to impossible to live upto expectations to make a sequel of such a beloved film like AAA with same cast that too after 30 years.

Woh zamanay hee kuch aur thhay, who waqt woh chehray woh aura hee inn stars Ka kuch aur thha.

They cannot recreate AAA now or its sequel.

90s ka magic cannot be repeated.

That magic has long gone with the 90s era.

they don’t have todo the movie in the same context like I said in my post plus they can’t make it the same way it won’t click. They have todo it in present day style it could be similar theme or some other theme but a comedy like this but not an exact remake and sequels usually don’t have same story anyhow just similar concept.

Lets see how it will turn out , but most probably will be limited to the rumors only as expected

I really don't know if I would want that...even a very good coffee or tea if re-warmed hasn't the same pleasant taste than the first made one.

Look at Gadar 2...it had been nostalgia but not the movie as such that made it a success (many complained about the parts that hadn't been done by Sunny or Ameesha)....and Salman and Aamir have travelled different routes - in life and movies.

I agree with what has been said by others that the interest here isn't so much in AAA2 as much as seeing Salman and Aamir onscreen together. Because we've seen SRK and Salman together a lot but Aamir is notoriously cagey with putting himself besides those two. AAA was a sole exception and even in that, you can tell Aamir had a lot more influence and control compared to Salman. The movie starts with him, his character isn't presented as being so stupid, and they've really done something to Salman to make him look bad in the movie. I watched other movies of Salman from the same year and he looks wonderful in those so I don't know what they did in AAA to make him look so ordinary. Knowing Aamir, I'm positive he was responsible for the creative decision here to make himself look more beautiful.

Gadar 2 was a disappointment. Not enough emphasis on Sunny and Ameesha. I can understand that there's only so many times you can have Sunny go into Pakistan to save Ameesha but I agree with what Ameesha said that Gadar 2 underperformed overseas because fans were expecting the magic of this couple and they didn't get that. She's stated that she agreed to do Gadar 2 for the fans but Gadar 3 she won't do unless she feels the script does her and Sunny's characters justice.
