Abhira was raised well by Akshara who fulfilled all of her basic needs , so I don’t even understand how can anyone mock Akshara for choosing to give her baby a peaceful comfortable “middle class” life over toxic “rich” environment in Goenka house .

Kinjal,Charu, Ruhi etc all are have grown up in wealthy families , what did it give them ? Look how pathetic their lives are in their own respective ways .

Even if Akshara was middle class , she gave her child enough confidence and love that Abhira can make her own fortune and live her life independently, inheritance is her right no doubt but Abhira is better off without that too .

She’s not dependent, unaware of her rights , coward or lacking self esteem like other “wealthy” females in Rishta , this is undoubtedly gift from her “middle class” parent’s upbringing and they shouldn’t be mocked for that .

what did wealth and privileges give Ruhi and ea h of the Poddars they don’t even have the himmat to talk about their career , love or marriage..

you are so right; Abhira has already come to these conclusions which is why she does not hesitate to speak up and be truthful. She has nothing to lose and has the courage and moral strength to stand up to injustice. This irritates Roohi who has no set goals, no high moral standing, and gets by, through abusing Abhira and pretending to be a good bahu to others. Hopefully all this will become visible to the family. Kajal though wealthy is not at all happy- she once says I have a Saas Like mother-- no better way to describe dragonsaa.

It’s not just about courage but overall quality of life . Poddars are wealthy but they constantly live under fear of Kaveri, they can’t even have a career of their choice. Basic right to free expression and freedom is not available to those rich people.

Khair, our legacy females don't really care about that part though they are entitled for richness too.

But I think show's primary focus is inheriting good qualities from their mom, nani, par nani... I think that's where real legacy lies too...

Good qualities like self confidence, assertiveness, strong headedness, and self respect... These qualities have been part of this legacy show.

And I think obsession for money is because sometimes your favorites only has that as a superpower and no other quality. Ruhi has no other good points to show off except Money and Beauty, toh kya kar sakte hai, bass ussi point par spread hate against Female Lead.
