This song gives me so much secondhand embarrassment that I always look away until the cutie Salman starts playing the instrument. 😆

IKR. Like WOT THE HELL IS EVEN GOING ON? Why is she shying away and fluttering her lashes at him? One would think that she actually liked him but married her husband instead. 🤣

Okay so Salman does look cute BUT leading to my next ick, he’s too scrawny in this film. I don’t like a thin hero coz I’d feel like the big spoon hugging the little spoon.

Kissing scenes......smiley11....as soon as they start....I am like.....

Funny Memes

I’m not a fan of kissing scenes in Bollywood films. I dunno why everyone looks like they’re about to eat each others face (i.e. Emraan Hashmi).

I do like the pin-her-against-the-wall and sniff her hair and neck kinda romance scenes though. Sounds like I’m describing a dog though, I dno. smiley5

I don’t like any justification of toxicity. I believe the character should just remain unapologetically evil without giving me a sob story. Hence why I love reading dark romance novels where the anti-hero remains horrid with no explanation. smiley36

Is there anything the heroine or hero does in a movie that puts you off from them?

Hi smiley1

I can tolerate almost anything without getting the icks ( shipped Jaime-Cersei incestuous pair - don't judge me smiley15).

However, there are still some things which make me not a fan:

1. Heroine getting nervous or running away from Hero as soon as he touches her even when they are in love. I prefer heroines who show their consent explicitly.

2. Love at first sight ( already someone mentioned in this thread)

3. Ungroomed hero ( ASR in IPKKND towards the later period with that unkempt face and almost oily hair) smiley21. I prefer well dressed men.

4. Tight body hugging t- shirts on grown adults looks weird (unless you are SRK in kuch kuch hota hai smiley27)

I think that is it for now.

I do read dark romance but I want the heroine to leave him after knowing about his deeds or never fall for him. Their situationship might look romantic to the readers but shouldn't be any romantic from the FL's side. It should be like a adventurous story where the ML dies or goes to jail. There is this story where I read in which FL experiences horror because of ML n she puts him in jail and tells him she is going to abort their child and she also rejects the proposal from other ML who gets her out of the mess because her mental health doesn't permit her and she needed to heal herself. I want my female protagonist to have sense of moral compass and self-preservation. How can a man who can't care less about other person's suffering, love a person? Is it even a love or just infatuation or lust ?

I think you and I read dark romances expecting completely different outcomes. You want justice to prevail while my moral compass is non-existent when it comes to sexy bad heroes. Of course in reality, a psychopath isn’t capable of falling in love, and I’d strongly advise any romantic interests to run as far as they can. However, in the fictional world, I like the opposite. I’m all for the bad guy and good girl to end up together.

I’m bored from reading about the vanilla nice guy. You might like the book ‘the hating game’’. It’s a super fun and romantic book, no red flags.

I only judge people who find Abhishek Bachan hot, otherwise saat khoon maaf. I have a long list of icks but very little trigger points. I can basically watch or read anything barring very specific themes.

I agree with all your icks. The Chinese show I’m currently watching has a very forward hero, who isn’t shy about getting close to her. But the heroine keeps skirting away and it’s starting to piss me off.

Bruh, jump on him already. 😭
