Manish Malhotra s mother passes away.
Nice thought Shireen! I agree with pardesi-mem, Anjali brings more of an emotional stability in Kavya's life therefore having her around, though not necessarily with him 24/7, helps Kavya. Take an example from the scene where he tells her he loves her and their child. Anjali advises him to treat Pammi better and well you know the rest of her speech. Somewhere along the way (in HK), Kavya tries to act on that suggestion, the point being; (subconsciously or otherwise) he drinks in every word of hers and somehow in his own 'special' way implements stuff, course it used to go horribly wrong before but seems to be working out well at the moment. Its Anjali that makes him want to be a better man, each time and that counts for more than mere physical proximity.
Therefore as far as Kavya being able to live without Anjali (anywhere near him or him interacting with her in someway no matter how brief) is concerned, think not, esp in terms of emotional support/input. He doesnt share that bond with anyone else cept maybe his mother but hers is a whole different level and a sick/twisted ball game therefore id rather not talk about it here! Hehe..
