What's the exact meaning of EMA??? Jo log EMA karna chahta hain vo itna darre rahta hai kya? Armaan is stepping backwards when that woman is approaching him.. And that scene was zoomed by editors. (I am glad they did it) Aur bhi kya proof chahiye ki he is scared of her advances....

Yes you call him a weak and coward guy. I would admit.. You call him an emotional fool.. I would still admit..

Today's episode was kinda great overall. There was finally MOVEMENT in the story. The director and writing was top notch.

1. The Ar-Ab auto scene was symbolising how if Ar doesn't grow a spine soon and doesn't let go of Ru, then Ab will cut ties with him. He is guilty, confused, everything, but he needs to take a decision. And be firm on that.

2. Ar-Ru's staircase scene with Ab's parallel was one of the best shot scenes in Rishta gen4. It clearly symbolised how Ru is the one coming in between Ab and Ar's rishta. It was a parallel to Ar-Ru's very first meeting where he saved her. Today Ru kind of repaid his debt by saving him. He should be free now.

3. Ru cornered him and was trying to get a confession out of him. His only thought was, why put me under the bus again? She wanted him to fight for her, fight for their love (just like last time) and just like last time, he ran for Ab. He will never make Ruhi his priority. His pagalpan is only reserved for Abhira.

4. The hospital scene was amazing. Starting from Armaan's desperation to his realisation of how less he knows Ab. He only views her as his zimmedaari. But she is his WIFE. He is always so preoccupied with Ru and her ddp, that he never took out time to get to know Abhira. That scene was amazingly written and enacted by Shehzada. Hopefully this is a turning point in their story. Hopefully this means that Armaan will put efforts into their relationship.

They don't actually talk about normal stuff. Bs family issues, then Ruhi always come between them.

And armaan is really a preoccupied of all the unnecessary responsibilities ki he is ignoring the fact ki he should focus on abhira the most.

Not love but she is his responsibility.

He knows Ru loves him. He knows she hasn't moved on. He doesn't want ema and never did he even think of committing that. The day Ru got engaged to Ro she was off the charts. Either Vidya, Dadisa, Charu, Ruhi and sometimes even Abhira put him through mental trauma! He was hurt that Abhira didn't confide in him with her problems. With others he is always guilt tripped into believing that he is somewhere responsible for all things that went wrong in their life. Cut this man some slack! I can't even imagine being in that place. I wonder how he has still not lost his sanity.

P.S. this is probably the last time I am going to counter Armaan haters for accusing him of ema. At this point I have chosen to believe that DKP releases alternate versions of episodes. If you want to disagree you can. I won't be responding further as I know this is futile. Moreover the lack of my response shouldn't be taken as my acceptance of your pov.

I cant agree more on this.

No one is denying that Armaan doesn't have residual feelings for Ruhi. No one is denying that he doesn't know she has feelings for him. But what the hell is EMA? What Ruhi wants is EMA, but Armaan never acted upon Ruhis suggestion. He might get lost in their moments, he might get weak in front of her, but he has never gave in to her.

Armaan's only issue is that he doesn't draw boundaries with her, he keeps feeding her delusions. But he has never approached her for anything. The guy doesn't even talk to her first. It's always her who is after him.

Also, Ruhi is not some teenager or teatoddler who doesn't understand that Armaan is avoiding her. It's so clearly visible to naked eyes that he doesn't enjoy her company, that he doesn't want to be with her. She is desperate, that's why she keeps building fake scenarios about him in her head. She very cheaply again pushed him under the bus so that if anything goes wrong she can blame him.

Armaan is right now the most tortured and harassed character in Rishta.

Armaan isn't trustworthy because he's a frickin pendulum, he's impulsive, he lets Ruhi manipulate him all too easily and he jumps to wrong conclusions. He has a savior complex and he seems to enjoy Ruhi relying on him and getting him guilt tripped. He does not want to get over her. He wants to pine over her and enjoys misery. Maybe he's got this idea that this adhuri story is very romantic or something. 🙄 He wants Abhira to depend on him only to get an ego boost and he has decided that anything she does independently, he will class as her stubborn- ness or gadbad. If he genuinely cared about Abhira he'd realize that Abhira is way more likely to be struggling emotionally compared to Ruhi or him because she literally has no one. She lost her mom, she almost got married/molested/killed by Yuvraj, she is dealing with Ruhis crap and dadi's archaic ideas. Yet she's trying to be strong. Whereas he has no interest in that. He would rather becharify Ruhi and himself. And he thinks him and Ruhi are very samajhdaar and mature, Abhira is NOT. But nothing can be further from the truth.Ruhi has a family and if he really was serious about moving on, he'd insist she goes to Goenka house. But he clearly wants her around him. I will agree that he isnt immoral enough to sleep with her but he will commit emotional infidelity because he's already doing that. Letting her into his space, his matters and getting overly involved in hers without straight up disassociating himself shows that he is getting some kick out of watching Ruhi pine for him and vice versa. Masochistic tendencies. He seems to derive pleasure out of misery. He neither values nor deserves our sunshine baby sharma.

If Armaan feels harassed by Ruhi, is displeased by everything , is feeling manipulated - why doesn't he react that way?! Why is he projecting gussa on Abhira and becharifying Ruhi?!

Ruhi is pathetic and delusional but he is the one who is feeding it constantly.

He needs to cut things off. If he wants to move on, he needs to firmly do so. Not keep on going back to square one. Why doesn't he support her dusri shaadi or refuse to be included in the matter so that she gets upset with him and moves out for good. By making himself her spokesperson and being against her dusri shaadi he is giving her hopes that he still wants her.

He is screwing up too much and the fact that he's a lawyer who can read people makes him look even more stupid.

If it was first time hesitation, I would have chalked it up to their earlier fights, But the same situation has happened before and I will never be able to forget the valentines day hug response. When the opp person is shit scared even strangers hug back. And we can atleast expect that he rests his hands on her. But he is not willing to that too and the camera intends to stress on that.
