Meerab’s trauma and people robbing her of her identity and future , all for her to be someone’s wife was a solid reason for her rebellion. But I feel post episode 30, that was kind of forgotten? And she did some dumb stuff as a result of that trauma - like Maryam’s forced marriage was just her trauma replaying for her. So on one hand I get it? But on the other hand, the writing was infuriating for her at times. It was ONLY Yumna which stopped me from getting too frustrated. The way this woman plays with her eyes, her face, her lips, everything ? Amazing. These little nuances add SO MUCH. Which is why I feel Yumna had the tougher job on this show than Wahaj 😂

Nope. The Green channel shows I’ve watched have all been amazing. It’s new and will take some momentum to get bigger. But PTV is expanding its stories and content for sure. Even 7th sky does things like JSA and Khaie once in a while 😂

im not opposed to the usual run of the mill story lines (because I know there’s a mass following for that kind of content), as long as quality stuff and different content is also getting made frequently enough

As for newcomers, I’ve recently seen quite a lot of great ones. Mamya was excellent in Jhok Sarkar. Shuja in Khaie. Even Daniyal I’ve heard is doing okay in Stand up girl. And look at hamza sohail. So talent ki kammi nai hai. It’s just a game of content expansion

I find it amusing how high Hum is these days on Ishq Murshid - they can barely contain their happiness at this sudden jackpot 😂 Thoray pagal ho gaye hain lol

Good for them. Otherwise channel wasn’t doing so well

So yes. Meerab is the real challenge here. An actor who can pull off making her enjoyable/likeable and even root for her. It’s a tough one.

Nah, meerab still was one of the badly written fls I've ever seen, I dont think I'll ever like such character even if my favourite actor would've played such role, tho I was neutral about yumna because this was her first full fledged role I was watching..

I didn't even side with zaid and bashed him so much inspite of wahaj playing the character...for me the character should have likeable traits and meerab had none..

Another thing I have noticed about her is that she doesn't do romantic dramas that much.Atleast off late,her dramas have been of other genres having crimes,thrill and such stuff.Tumhare Husn Ke Naam is an exception.

yep which is probably why she doesn’t have a major fanbase. most actors with huge fanbases are loved for their romantic pairings. I’ve never seen anyone say they loved saba opposite an actor
