But why Draupadi Swayamvar? Even if Draupadi accepted Karna (to participate) or Pandavas lost they would have still got some other way to return.

Things won't have changed at all in Mahabharat story through that Swayamvar

Reminds me of CID where Aditya sir ( Abhijeet ) was only supposed to be in the show for 26 episodes but he liked his role so much that he stayed in that role while acting in many movies....this person should've done the same

But YRKKH gen 3 was "okay" and was shelved within 2 years so not a great loss ig ( or was he a part of gen 2? )

@bold really? So they had brought him with such a bang for only 26 episodes? I think he had joined a few months after Ashutosh Gowarikar had quit and they needed a second in for ACP. Daya wasn't famous back then (he was akin to the people in background including the guy in your ex DP) and Asha though famous was more like Female lead, they needed a male parallel.

I remember they had another guy who had joined after Viren, but he was there for only few episodes (was there in the one when Abhijeet was introduced)

It was really a bad decision had they actually planned Abhijeet for 26 episodes, that would have given the image that their lead cast is constantly changing without continuity, like it happened with Female cops after Asha left, only Muskan and later Shreya& Purvi were ones who actually stayed for some time
