For a historical to work, it should be visually pleasing, actors should be really good and audiences must believe that it may have had happened in the past. Chandra Nandini's was a star show and it had massive reach then, still it wasn't in top shows ever. Looks like Jodha Akbar's success and Chandra Nandini not being a major flop made Ekta delusional or she deliberately wanted this show to flop 🤣

Atleast don't use Bollywood songs, they used Bahubali's songs and Piya hadh kar de 🤣😂 deewani mastani bhi jaldi ayega 🤣 yes strong actors are a must, just because of Siddharth audiences forgave historical inaccuracies in Chakravartin Ashok Samrat 🤣 Costumes are also not accurate 😑

I'm curious now, how much time did the actors spent attending workshops and preparing and all that for Chakravartin Ashok Samrat.

Not much but they chose good actors for the show and costumes were accurate. Show focussed mostly on fictional stories which might had been entertaining for viewers as they liked it but I didn't due to these plots behind entirely fictional. Still it was a much better show than Chakravartin Ashok Samrat.
