Yes, both are very strong and innocent but the problem is, both have become each other's weakness, instead of strength (recall the line what Kavya mentioned, when last misunderstanding ended that they should have been together, instead of separated to fight against all)..
This has been the pattern and no change/learning. Also, all the Pradhans know about it, iincluding Malini and Omi who are emotionally blackmailing Adi.
