@Bold --- This! This is what I talk about. All the time we talk about women empowerment and equality, but whenever we see a character like Armaan we only bash him. As if men only needs to be dominant, strong, angry and Alpha..
Men can be soft to. Men can be imperfect and can cry and be empathic, sacrificial a lot of other things.
Armaan is a soft, kind hearted man. Of course, he needs to stand up for himself, of course he needs to speak up and not be nice when people are manipulating him, taking advantage of him.
But that doesn't happen in a day. It takes time to gather that courage to speak up. It takes time to take a stand when your whole life you have only given in to others.
He is a poor boy, and not in a sarcastic way. All his life he had been subjected to manipulation, coercion and even emotional blackmail. So he won't change in a single day. It will take a lot of time and this is ITV and we need to be patience with him.
Trust me the position Armaan is in regarding Ruhi, it is very hard to speak up. If, instead of a he, it were a she, he would have been treated differently. In many instances he is a victim, just a plain victim. And a lot of time people are victim blaming.
His position in Poddar house is worse than Ruhi, worse than even Aryan. He could be thrown out in a moment even for a minute mistake.
He will get there. He will be worthy of Abhira. Because in this story not only the ML will save the FL, but also the FL will save the ML. She will rescue him from the clutches of his terrible childhood and guilt and burden.
And I am all for their journey.
