Of course, he will be in denial mode. He had made tall claims of only loving Ruhi when they didn't even have any relationship in the first place. And his love was something elusive. In the case of Ruhi, he fell for her at first sight. It's the kind of puppy love that we experience during our teenage years. Unfortunately, Armaan was a late bloomer in case of heart and thought this was it. But now he is experiencing that unconditional love that kind of sneaks on you. It is unexpected and in the future, the realization will catch him off guard. Right now his heart is falling and his mind is denying it.
