it did release in today's time, its a half baked product therefore it had to settle for average hit. i can't believe ayan spent 10 yrs for this.

TM probably meant after Animal's success.

Had the movie released in its pre scheduled date(s) without delay and by default, cost overrun, it might have done better. But even then the USP would be spectacular VFX, SRK, Nagarjuna and to some extent AB Senior.

The music and the weak acting by both RK and Alia would be a dampner, irrespective of timing. The album, no matter the release date, would still remain one of Pritam's mediocre works..

Had the movie released on its scheduled date, it would have been big, like really big.

It could have actually paved the path for India Bollywood to have its own "ASTRAVERSE"...
