He had forseen whats coming thats why tried to save kavya.. I think he was absolutely right and him not accepting Adhi must be because he knew Adhi is good but not so strong to always to stand against his own dad or brother so to make him realise that his netaji doesnt deserve a second chance put forth a challenge which will lead him to the dark secrets of his own family..

I don't think Rajiv was aware of the domestic violence/was afraid about the secrets of Pradhan family. His concern was about Pradhans being rich, Giriraj being a politician who doesn't like Kavya and only values the people with same reputation, noone in the family can stand up for right and fight against Giriraj..etc.

He was quite right, as he could not see Adi being serious enough for his career or can protect Kavya in the Pradhan family...

Kavya will definitely not keep quiet and fight against all wrong in the Pradhan family. Hopefully she is well supported by Adi and Malini at different stages..
