Even those roles went to him as other hero rejected them smiley36

Yet he is known for romance in Bwood.

Not SRK..u know SRK was the villian..or anti hero as some people like to put him. So hero would be someone he is pitted against. So pls name the hero characters of Anjaam, Baazigar or Darr. Or barring Sunny name the actors who played those roles... without the help of internet.

Sunny Deol made sure his name is remembered 😂

Shivani (Madhuri) and Priya (Kajol)

You think we need help of internet to name characters in SRK's movies? 🫤

Umm that makes zero sense. If I made a film centred around a negative action and how that affects victims, people will remember the villain because it is their actions which are driving the plot. If I make a film about Nazi Germany, people will remember how Hitler convinced an entire country that hating and killing minorities is okay to right some imaginary historical affront.

The audience will remember him because his actions and depravity are shocking to human psyche, not because his character is glorified.

Anjaam and Darr were two films where the villain made the heroine's life hell in ways that shocks our subconsciousness. That's why they are remembered. As opposed to, say, Chalte Chalte and HTHS where his characters were pieces of shit but not unusual to the kind of people we see around.

It has nothing to do with glorification of villains

Fair enough..so same applies to the character in a film literally titled Animal?

Depends, why do you think "Animal" is negative?

Oh really? Didn't know this. I just remember the controversy where he felt he got a raw deal. this one..he even said somewhere he didn't know they would glorify the anti hero

Why should male actors be "Hero" of a movie?

There's one person doing wrong deeds and another doing good deeds, you choose what you want to do

Ajay Sharma ins Baazigar ruined his life following path of vengeance and ultimately died then there was Priya whose sister Ajay killed but she wasn't crazy like him and didn't ruin her life

You have two characters who lost their loved ones. One was following the law and another wasn't, the one following the law survived and the one who broke the law, died

Baazigar had a bigger villain in form of Madan Chopra who was murdered too

Anjaam on the other hand was story of Shivani through and through, you remember SRK because he is the bigger star but in the movie, Shivani was clearly the hero. She drove the plot

All I m saying is that Ajay Sharma taking revenge is as much justified in the movie as Ranvijay going crazy. Just bcoz one died and another didn't..we can't say the first movie was better. It's like saying the ending justified the means.

Audience cheered for both the characters.

Precisely, Context is important. You can't club two things together and make a comparison.

A dark character leading the story is not wrong, everyone is allowed to present the story from any perspective like Mahabharata being made from Karna's perspective is fine but attributing his wrong actions to Draupadi's "Andhe ka beta andha" jibe, is not.
