In India also there were ad campaigns with bwood celebs asking citizens to vote.

Every time during elections a lot of actors post pics with ink of their fingers promoting voting. Even in kerala's state elections Malayalam actors post pics of them voting.

In a democratic country it's good if celebs urges their fans and followers to vote.

Pks made a lot of buzz and had pretty decent YouTube views that time. IM is bilal's first drama to have such high rating and YouTube views but not his first hit. Balaa and cheekh also had good ratings. Pks was bilal's 3rd or 4th consecutive hit whereas it was yumna's first drama to get that much attention. That's why St. Billu fans get angry when yumna fans say yumna is the one who made pks popular . Pks got most of the attention mainly because it was bilal's next project after cheekh which gave him immense attention.
