I don't think having less sex makes anyone right-wing conservative. And being a right-wing conservative does not stop people from having sex scandals.

Gen Z is having far less sex, but their views toward sex and sexuality are perhaps the most progressive.

Gen Z is broker than millennials. They are not making any waves in box office spending.smiley36

Fighter failed because it was derivative. There was nothing fresh. It seemed a mishmash of previous films. And even if one claims the film is fresh - the promotion was still stale. Even if you have the best hot fudge sundae, if you promote it as poop, there will be no takers. And if the word of mouth isn't taking off perhaps it indeed is poop and not hot fudge sundae.

Merry Christmas flopped simply because it was released at the wrong time and place. Many well-received movies and cult classics flopped upon release because people just didn't appreciate it.

Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers make up a majority of the market. Millennial and Gen X men are very much the biggest consumers of the hyperviolent movies released of late. Gen Z actually is put off by hypersex and hyperviolence.

Some bad movies become superhit. Some bad movies actually flop.

Fighter is in 2nd category. Animal & Pathan in 1st.

Just because you think some trash movies ended up being superhits and that good movies like Fighter ( which I think is your ultra fondness for HR) became flop, you can't blame it all on Gen Z.

Even millennial who are born in the late 90s are young (29-34 years of age). Even Gen Z, who are born in late 90s are already old enough to pursue a career (those born in 96 and 97 are 28 snd 27 respectively). If we are blaming a certain section without proper empirical evidence, let's shift some blame, if not all, towards millennials as well...

Also who should be given credit for the success of a movie like 12th Fail??

Mlllenials?

Gen Z?

Gen Alpha?

Besides, how can one term Fighter as a good movie and Pathan as trash when both the movies are based on the same Anti-Pakistan premise? Now don't tell me that the SRK movie became a hit because it showed a former RAW Agent go rogue and an ISI Agent as Bharat Mata ka savior.

Wrt Animals, the sensibilities are subjective, so no comments on your views on it..
