+Hritikh-Deepika first-time pairing in a big-budget, action film
Negatives for Fighter:
-The songs have missed the mark.
-The concept, focused on aerial action with fighter jets, isn't creating too much interest with the Indian audience
-The buzz for the film is about HALF (or maybe lower!) than what it was for Siddharth Anand's last film, Pathaan
-A director can sometimes deliver an underperformer when he goes outside a big production house he was working with. We saw this happen with Ali Abbas Zaffar, who delivered two Blockbusters with YRF (Sultan and TZH), but then gave an underperformer when he stepped outside of YRF, with Bharat.
This seems to be a similar case here for Siddharth Anand: two Blockbusters with YRF (Pathaan,War), but an underperformer once he steps away from YRF (Fighter).
Overall, Fighter will do decent business, but it will prove to be another UNDERPERFORMER at the box office after Tiger 3 and Dunki!
