When I was in Dubai I have heard the women in the Arab family holds a lot of power and men cannot marry without the permission of the first wife. I guess South Asian men just changed it for their convenience

It's not about approval but treating both of them equally which is almost impossible.

i don't know the big deal.. they're both divorced by the sounds of it and they got married.. Pakistani celebs seem to marry on impulse (i got a theory about why but that's for another post) so it could be this.. or maybe they met their soul mate after their respective divorces..
