Good for you Koko! But can we please move on from the movie. Vanga just needs in the news and we are just giving him that. Talk about Killer Soup, Death in Gunj instead, you have the platform, hype them up🫶(and yes, Ik this is probably during promotion for Killer Soup)

You know what Clochette, you don't wanna watch the movie? - that's fine, that's cool, that's your prerogative!
But then without watching it, how can you claim he's done stuff only to show-off? Every action, every scene, every motivation of the characters can be explained within the framework of the movie.
You're right, and in other circumstances, I also would - most probably - give this comment, too.
However, already before Animal released I wrote that I would do a personal watching boycott (which is extremely rare) because of what Vanga said long before starting the shooting of Animal - as reaction to the criticism the Hindi version of his debut movie Arjun Reddy (= Kabir Singh) got.
Of course, one can make a story where everything that happens and the characters also are explained with an inner logic (that's exactly what I love in movies - among others), but Vanga had a prefigured explicit motivation to make this movie (= showing a hefty amount of violence, much more than in Kabir Singh) and the fact that he did it, is what I mean with "showing-off". In addition, everything of the promotional material I watched and also what members wrote who had watched the movie made me think that the story only gives paper-thin explanations for the violence displayed.
I wrote a lot about Animal in the forum and my opinion had always be the same: Vanga deliberately made a movie to rile people up (in more than one way)...and I agree with those who reject this motivation.
I read here that he made a 1000cr movie...well, not yet...it's just (according to Sacnilk) Worldwide Collection ₹ 913.25 Cr (India Net Collection ₹ 553.31 Cr [Hi: 502.42 Cr]) which - of course - is very impressive but only makes me curious about the effect, not the movie as such.
That is what i said when i watched the trailer. There is no story. Just a bunch of random scenes put together.
And Ranbir's character was a villain but he was glorified.
Too much so call intellectualism. Its better to watch n den criticise rather than not opting to watch n den blabbering.😂

One didn't like the part in the movie Animal where the ...
rolls royce purchased for Zoya was the color of her hickies?

Creating anticipation, and provoking thoughts is always a part of marketing and promoting a movie. Vanga's very good at blending these opposing forces to generate a curiosity for the movies that he directs.
Why are we still discussing nonsense Vanga? The guy is delusional and is gonna be SO hurt the moment his movie flops.
i didn't watch Arjun Reddy or Kabir
not watching Animal. his movies sound like some creepy domination fantasies.
