Ayra isn’t dying for sure. We are yet to get the scene where she demands 5 cr from Asif.

I am confused about one thing.Ayeza had posted a reel with Wahaj-Last walk of Zaid-MJ one.The scenes of them wearing those outfits have aired this week. So,what are we supposed to make of it considering they do have more scenes left?

This confused me too but I think they filmed their ā€œTurkeyā€ scenes last since it was just the 2 of them. They must have rushed right through them because there doesn’t seem to be much footage, lol.

I think… you really REALLY don’t like her haha

It’s fine. I personally don’t mind her character - she’s actually one the writer has bothered fleshing out and there’s a proper arc at least. And I didn’t view her actions as ā€œgiving up on himā€ - both times her reasons were valid and explained. We just have to agree to disagree there. Ayra’a decisions - wrong or right - can mostly be excused based on the pressures put on her family and her trauma related to what Asif did. And the writer actually bothering to give her lines that show why/how she’s slowly unraveling. You get her perspective a LOT. Direct as well as indirect. If badar has given any character that kind of focus its Ayra or MJ. The thing that takes away from the character is Azeekah. I’ll give you that lol

Anyway, for me right now she’s just a completely broken person - a tragedy waiting to happen. And her own choices and decisions led to this. She let her ā€œMeinā€ win. The only thing Zaid wants is to live happily with her and she can’t appreciate what she has and instead chooses to act out and cause trouble for her own self šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

as for her dealing with Mj and Zaid, I think she’ll be fine because she got over the room scene easily and said he’s justified because after all, Mj is also his wife and he can spend the night with her. She won’t hold that against him. I personally don’t think she will get to react at all because SHE IS SO DYING šŸ«£šŸ’€

I’ll give it 2 more episodes ? Lol

Actually I don't mind her character at all. She doesn't irritate me in the least and I have always said I'm very thankful she's not a Haya, because she's very interesting to watch. Actually I feel majority of us on this thread are not blind fans, thank God.

I think each of us viewers have some expectation from the story, when that's not met we get frustrated.

Wahaj fans get frustrated when he has less screen space, like wise with Ayeza fans. That's if you have not caught on to the story.

Some of us approach the story from one character's pov because that strikes a chord with us. In my case, I'm very much interested in Zaid's pov because the ost was all about him. That's not the only thing that has drawn me to the story, though ... it's the concept of mein.

Some of us just see it as a fight between good and evil. I have never viewed this story like that because let's face it- in real life we all see lot of ppl getting away with a lot of stuff they should be pulled up for. Such black and white situations don't exist in real life.

Coming back to mein.

I'm viewing this story strictly in terms of mein because it's the title and the ost showed Zaid's mein quite clearly.

Mein is the sense of pride in oneself. Everyone has it, not just the main protagonists. Last episode we saw Rayaan's mein...it's just his pov. He doesn't see his actions could be responsible for what has happened to him too. Asif has it, we saw Kash finding it when she found her self respect and said enough is enough when her love was tested. Ok, her love was not worth any sacrifices really, unless this guy Rayaan has a redemption track.

Love testing Mein: this is what I look for in the story.

Zaid's love for MJ was rejected. He found his mein to survive it. This is me. This is my expectations from love. I will give this much. I will expect this much back. If it is not reciprocated, I will not allow that love to play with my emotions. It is with this mein he has entered into a relationship with Ayra. And it is smooth until it gets tested by love. He was rejected again by her, his mein told him to give her one more chance - she rejected him again, so he went his way. That's perfectly acceptable. If he really loved her, he would have thought of giving her some more time to change her decision, but since his love is very practical he just took what she stated very clearly and decided to move on. His mein gets affected by guilt, sense of responsibility etc. so we see what led him to marry Ayra.

Ayra's mein when tested by love: Her mein is her career, her Bhai. She chooses both over her love. I won't explore more of that because it's very evident.

If she chose her love, she would have told Zaid to wait instead of rejecting him outright.

If she chose love, she'd have understood Zaid is hurt when she joined Fakar group. You don't do that to someone you love, however justified you may be.

MJ's mein is her status symbol, her connections, the way she has groomed herself to be adored. There's no place for love in her world until she's forced to come down on her knees and adjust for a man she can't afford to lose. That fear of divorce is also a weak part of her mein that drives her to act. We get that long monologue from her in the garden which is her mein. This is it- I'm standing with those middle class women who are forced to adjust to their husbands... despite my class, my mein- I'm forced to be this. She's also very honest with Zaid - the conversation before he requests for the reception...he asks her if she's all good and her response is very sincere. Kuchh tute phute hai...but she's trying to mend it... Anyway, she doesn't want to bother him with that and steers the conversation back to him. She was not in love with him, but she was actually fond of him to say that about herself and ask about him. Throughout their interactions we can see a real MJ and a plotting MJ...that's her circumstances, but when it comes to choosing mein over love...she will choose Zaid.

Coming to last two episodes in the light of mein.

Zaid's mein tells MJ his expectations from her when it comes to analysing him and Ayra. It's not a warning or an order, he says clearly...he respects her enough to tell her it is a request. This is miles away from the mein duel they had over the shirt. She surrendered her mein and her attitude actually amused him and defused the situation.

Zaid's mein tells her he won't be able to trust her with his heart again probably...this is the broken part of his mein which continues to fear what he has/ had for her. He's quite sure he can always have his feelings under control when it comes to her.

Zaid's mein wants to communicate with Ayra because he knows she has reason to be upset since he couldn't convince his dad to send her to Turkey with him...that's the man he is...he always wanted to be...caring, protective husband...

Zaid's love for Ayra has never won over his mein actually...when she has tested his love or mein, he has reacted very clearly that he will be no doormat.

Zaid's love for MJ has been surrendered to his Mein for so long...it will take a major step from her side to kill that mein that protects him from her.

Ayra's mein tells her to pick up the phone not because she wants to converse with her husband or tell him about Rayaan's misbehaviour, but to find happiness in spreading the rumour she created about Asif. She's justified and a part of the audience is sympathetic to her plight, but where has Ayra's love stood in front of her mein is a question everyone has to ask. That message was intended to hurt Zaid, thinking he'd be upset, but Zaid ended up loving it because no matter black white or gray- he loves his father.

MJ's mein is non existent when she's swooning over Zaid 🤭 she mocks him in a friendly way with the shirt episode and unhone BHI doosri shaadi ki...she's all love when she accepts his request not to interfere and irritate him about what goes on between him and Ayra...and as she waits behind, waiting for him turn back to her and accept her request to spend quality time with him.

These are all not fillers or lollipops if we see the story in the light of mein and love, instead of staying in or between two camps.

I don't think this story is written to justify anyone's actions...it's simply an account of the battle between love vs mein.

For the record I'm really seeing Azekah has done her best in this show...all that trailing behind Asif, irritating him...she has done this sequence perfectly. šŸ‘Œ

Being monotonous might be her usual style, but she suits Ayra perfectly.

One more thing ...

Ayra is not at all unusual in her behaviour. I have personally known a lady like her who was so stupid in justifying herself, she even stooped to threatening her husband with domestic violence if he didn't comply with her demands to leave his family...she was even willing to hurt her kids for that ...

This couple is still married...happily or not, but the guy has learned to adjust to her. She has a personality disorder, she's a supermom when it comes to the energy she has, she excels in her work until after 1 year or so when she feels she can do better than the ppl around her and starts nitpicking. She needs help, but she's too proud to accept it, always justifying herself. Ayra is very interesting, because she resembles and responds like a real life character I know..

She might be releasing it to coincide with the scenes as they air, I suppose.if they wrapped up only recently, then there could be another 10 episodes left. We got the 5 Cr scene also recently. So they must have wrapped up in the last few weeks. Ayeza might have done a good chunk of Jaan e jahaan before starting Mein.

They always said Mein doesn't have a good bank of episodes.

These kind of crazy ppl exist in spite of being excellent in their work and probably no shady past as well...people just get derailed and do utmost shocking unexpected things and still try to blindly justify themselves.

Can we really say Ayra is being written situationally?

If Asif locks up Ayra she's not going to respond like a normal person, I'm afraid...she will have only revenge on her mind once this ordeal is over.

Oh ok.

They could wrap it up in ten or twelve episodes if they want to do it well.

The Turkey scenes were all shot separately after the main shooting was done. You can see Wahaj has a different hairstyle and beard . I think originally these episodes didn’t have MJ-Zaid scenes at all but they added these as lollipops and to minimise audience criticism.
