The problem with Ayra is she underestimates MB's relationship with Zaid, and overestimates her own relationship. Apart from the fact that she's is confused about what she really wants in life and is hypocritical. She has a holier than thou attitude like she's the better person among everyone when in reality she is as selfish as the rest if not more.
She only wants Zaid when she needs him, else she just keeps pushing him away and ignoring him.
Even her expressions are blank/I don't understand when someone genuinely advises her. In such cases, I really find her to be highly narcissist, selfish and can never compromise for anyone kind of.. She just can't. It's not in her to give. Only take. My way or high way.

Kitna jhagda hone diya between bhai and bhabhi. I don't think she can love anyone beside herself. I don't think that she can prioritise anyone or bring a little change for anyone. Yes. Looks like Mj rejected Zaid so he went form the opp and also had this low key khunnas with her. But in first episode he had that look when he sees her. I thought I was just imagining things

Yeah man, Zaid was genuinely invested in their relationship. Personally, I would have shipped Zaid and Ayra had Ayra been a good girlfriend. But it was all literally one sided. Now I get the feeling Ayra was Zaid's rebound and he was hell bent on making it work.
Even the first look promo makes sense now. Zaid was staring at Mubashira while she was busy in her own world. A nod to their past.
