She has always acknowledged his support. The stand which Armaan could never take for himself and no one else took for him, Abhira is gonna take for him. That's how Abhira will turn out to be light in his dark life.

On a serious note Dadi does give him importance. She did accept she's allowing Abhira to study only for Armaan. Didnt say anything to Abhira for running away from house. When during Ru time she told ek baar bahu gharse bahar gyi wapas nahi aa sakti

I agree she gives importance to him . And that is why on the very first day when she was planning with Fufa to throw Abhira away, she scrapped the plan on Armaans just one request. About Abhiras running away, she understands that isko Ruhi jaise dhamkake faida nehi she is a gone case.
