By GoT twist, I meant madhav hiding truth about armaan's real parents & claiming him as his son for whatever reason, but yeah you are right, other than trying new scenarios & plot twists, they all prefer the "hit" formula of third angle with brother's wife.

I can't say about the elite families in metropolis but most Marwari families are a bit conservative in these aspects. I know of a family living in Australia a traditional Marwari family where the DIL's are all homemakers and not allowed to work. They still take the palla over their head.
