The deal - I think Dad Ahuja said it better in convo with Ammu "Virat wont let Rajeev do anything bad". At least that's what he hopes, even if he is worried.

Having said that, they could've waited for the right person who would love Nimrit for who she is rather than go through all these compulsions. Also feel they are hurrying up around Virat's wedding. Let this Nimrit wedding happen, then go for the next one. But since she is hurrying up, probably even she has some complications and does expect she wont last long. So wants to die with having all her responsibilities done.

I think Virat will know, I am not so sure about Aunt and the rest. Think the others said no for the same reason.

Yeah... Virat-Ammu scene was fine... was a bit forced. goes overboard in the precap. But guess there are people who want that - so guessing catering to that audience. doesnt make much sense but not bad either. The argument in the beginning - For me remove the last 2 lines and its a near perfect scene. But unko woh angle ghusana hi hai.

You think Babita also has a problem with the last incident?

Virat pata nahin sambhal lega ya na, but I don't feel that deal either, kya pata business doob jaye then we will finally see Amu's worth as the best lady banker (as she is the best and got an award)

Think someone will accuse her of spiking water - and she may not have done it for some reason... (or she may have)... she was drinking that water in anger in the bts. Well she came again today for the next party at the Ahujas or shall I rechristen it the party hall? Plus she was getting assertive on “Viru” Singh Ahuja telling him he should have a pet name for her! Shakey was there loving every bit of Virat’s discomfort!

Btw, it seems to me that Ahuja senior has taken a liking to Anu, and actually entertains the idea of her and Virat… He was the one coaxing them to dance together, and kind of led the Shekhawats away when Virat was holding Amu from falling…

Not just the last incident, but also since she is shown desperate with Virat's alliance. There was also a mini-concern scene where doctor was called after one incident with Ammu in the initial eps.

Yeah, when dad said that, had the same doubt - wont rely on Virat to do it. They haven't yet shown him to be capable of that. Ammu's role... well... would be good but somehow i have the impression that the biggest thing of worth in itv is 'she is worthy of being our bahu'.

PS: And point about Virat is something they need to work on. I haven't yet got the impression that he is capable of handling things. Dad does have that demeanor. And my impression is if Virat is handling it, their business is likely already on the decline. Kind of odd when he is being shown emotionally manipulated... much more believable if Amruta has been handling it - even if she has been shown doing all the odd jobs. [Dangers of showing the ML being dumb so that the plot can continue.]

So grandma's role is kind of temporary - shoot for around 40 days. Name Gyaneshwari. Here to approve Amruta's alliance.

But of course, they will show her as being mean than evil. She is the mother of the ML after all. Unless Virat will sever ties and stuff, she won't be 'shown evil'. But she is evil for me as it's apparent she sees Nimrit as a 'burden who should be married off as soon as possible'. And she wasn't happy when Virat decided to give the profits of some deal to Nimrit. Which mother won't be happy to give some wealth to their daughter ? (Unless they show Nimrit as illegitimate or adopted in the future)

Some dark secrets in Ahujas. Nice. About time. They have more to them than party all night and day.

First dialogue was odd, given that alliance with Gautam is now fixed. But should be fine for those who havent watched it. [Not liking the preachy bit though. Heard its served a lot in the show in sp. dont want it here. ]

Havent seen her before - but do recognise the face from somewhere. Wont be surprised if she is / delivers her dialogues in an ott way. Got hints on that from the iv.
